Give Goalball a Go at Our First Taster Session – 7th of February 2026

Are you in Surrey (or the surrounding area) and looking for a new hobby? Perhaps goalball is for you!
Surrey Goalball Club is happy to announce we will be holding our first Taster Session on Saturday 7th of February 2026. This session, where you’ll get to try out this great sport, will be perfect for anyone looking to get into playing at SGC.
Any experience level is welcome, so it doesn’t matter whether you’re a pro or just starting out. Anyone is welcome!
The session will consist of various activities to get you used to throwing and defending, followed by some games to put it into practice and get the full feel of it. We’ll share more details about this closer to the time. You can read about gow goalball works on our What Is Goalball page.

Date: Saturday, 7th of February 2026
Time: arrive by 09:45 for a 10:00 start, finishing at 12:00
Location: Woking High School, Morton Road, Horsell, Woking, GU21 4TJ
What to Bring?
A water bottle
Eyeshades and pads if you own your own (we have spares if you don’t)
A small snack if you want one
Suitable clothing for physical activity – e.g. tracksuit bottoms or leggings, t-shirt, and non-marking trainers
Any medication you need
